Casita Palo Santo is our ‘suite’ casita, made up of a main room and sitting area and a smaller room off to the side, with a separate entrance. Both rooms have queen beds and they share a bath and a closet. The floors are smooth colored concrete and the colors of this casita reflect the forest outside and the Palo Santo tree. This is the perfect set up for a family or friends traveling together who might like a little more privacy. The outdoor portal is has an antique brick floor and a sitting area to enjoy the views of the Sierra and the forest. (Max. 4 people)
The Palo Santo, or Morning Glory tree, is a tall, deciduous tree with a silvery smooth bark. When this tree drops its large leaves, the morning glory flowers appear in abundance. The birds flock to this tree, as do deer who like to eat the flowers once they’ve fallen to the ground. Just outside the door of this Casita there is the biggest Palo Santo on our property…it’s quite the view.
